In January we launched the tenth expression of Glenmorangie’s Private Edition range, Glenmorangie Allta, at an exclusive tasting event in London – our fourth year of live streaming Glenmorangie tastings to drinks & lifestyle media globally.
To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the range, we opened the door to Glenmorangie’s Director of Distilling & Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden’s ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ for global media, trade and influencers, bringing to life the creative mind and inspiration behind these ground-breaking whisky expressions – and simultaneously live streamed the event to multiple markets. Designed to excite and engage global whisky gatekeepers, trade specialists, connoisseurs and collectors, the event took guests on a journey of discovery from the Scottish Highland inspired ‘Welcome Room’, through an in-depth tasting, concluding with an immersive ‘Cabinet of Curiosity’ experience.
We have now worked with Glenmorangie’s communications team and their global markets for the past four years, optimising the Private Edition launch strategy year on year. The markets have embraced the virtual nature of these events and the power real time access to the whisky creation team delivers, with 1,500+ global media and influencers attending and the programme outperforming across all KPIs every year.
