Taking Tennis to the next level

As the Global Technology Partner of the ATP World Tour, Infosys is much more than a tennis tournament sponsor.

The brief was to extend the reach of the Infosys ATP activation plan beyond previous years success and integrate complex and innovative showcases within the fan zone and customer hospitality at the Barclays World Tour Finals in London.

This included:

  • A ‘world-first’ immersive virtual reality experience created with Sony Playstation VR and the ATP to integrate 360º game views and statistics
  • Microsoft Hololens mixed reality showcase of a tennis retail store to transform operations with virtual dashboards and store layouts
  • The first-ever ATP stats leaderboards measuring player performance across 25 years and 12 million data points
  • The automation of real-time match analysis through iPad gamification, a talking Nao robot and AI driven interactions with Amazon Alexa – all driven by the Infosys Information Platform (IIP).

These experiences are creating new benchmarks for fan engagement and shaping the way forward for technology integration in sport and the success achieved in London has since led to the brief being extended to multiple global tournaments throughout 2017.
