In September we launched the latest Glenmorangie Beyond the Cask collaboration with Portland, Oregon based hardwood bicycle company, Renovo – the world’s first limited edition bicycles made from ex-Glenmorangie casks. As was the case with the Finlay & Co. partnership, the key objective was to reach and recruit new whisky drinkers to the brand through an innovative campaign that focused on a key brand truth, that Glenmorangie only use their casks twice.
The partnership was launched to 90 global media, celebrities and influencers in London at the aptly named Behind the Bike Shed and the celebration took guests on a creative journey, showcasing cask to bicycle alongside a unique signature serve cocktail and whisky tastings. The global integrated campaign has already generated significant international media coverage in leading lifestyle, drinks and cycling publications and markets are continuing to activate the partnership globally.
