DHL partnered with the Business of Fashion (BoF) to produce a 7-part podcast series that celebrates entrepreneurship in the fashion industry. BoF is an essential daily resource for fashion creatives, executives and entrepreneurs, a niche but critical audience for DHL. Our aim was to create a B2B content series that showcased DHL’s credentials as an enabler, thought-leader, pioneer and mentor of global trade, leveraging their longstanding commitment to the fashion industry globally.
The Drive podcast series featured some of fashion’s most inspirational entrepreneurs including Diane von Furstenberg & Jose Neves founder of Farfetch, focusing on their compelling personal journeys from humble beginnings to global empires. Each episode contained an ad read, highlighting DHL’s leading position as “stitched into the fabric” of the fashion industry. The episodes were broadcast live across the Business of Fashion, DHL, Spotify and iTunes channels with 90% of all the BoF listeners subscribing to the podcast series. Each episode was downloaded an average of 14,000+ times in their first week of release which is 280% more than the average for a new podcast.
