Hong Kong is the seventh stop of the World Rugby Sevens Series and considered to be the premier tournament due to it’s carnival-like atmosphere, attracting supporters from across the globe who have made the pilgrimage for the tournament on 7-9 April.
As the Global logistics leader, DHL continued to provide the unique service of delivering the Official Match Ball using a remote-control DHL van for each of the matches. DHL also entertained fans outside the stadium by challenging them to navigate a small, remote-control DHL delivery van along a table-top obstacle course and win prizes.
Russia’s Vladimir Ostroushko was awarded the DHL Impact Player Award after impressive at his first tournament on the Series. DHL Ambassador and former England 7s captain Rob Vickerman, was on the ground to capture all the highlights of the tournament and share his DHL Impact Player Award insights and predictions with the Sevens fans around the globe, via the DHL Rugby Twitter page.
Bright supported the local DHL team in Hong Kong through the development of tools and assets to bring the fan and hospitality guests experience to life, both at the stadium and across social media.
