In the lead up to Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250thbirthday in 2020, DHL and the Beethoven-Haus Bonn teamed up to create the ‘BTHVN on Tour’ exhibition – a modular shipping container that features Beethoven’s most famous artifacts, including his violin, ear trumpet and original score of the 33rdDiabelli Variation.
DHL’s goal was to raise awareness about the global tour so we identified a media platform partner – IDAGIO, the world’s leading classical music streaming service. Together we created an ‘IDAGIO Tech meets Culture – Delivered by DHL’ panel discussion and musical performance in conjunction with the world-renowned Gewandhaus Quartett, whom DHL sponsor. The event was live streamed for people to watch the panel of music experts discussing Beethoven’s pioneering spirit and innovation in the world of classical music. The live stream launched the tour which is now on its way to Los Angeles and New York.
